β-Actin is one of the actin isoforms which have been identified in animals. Actins are highly conserved proteins so they are frequently used as an internal standard referring to the same amount of cells loaded. This anti-β-Actin antibody is developed using peptides derived from β-Actin of many animal species including humans.
